A LEGACY OF BROADCASTING EXCELLENCE

Dan Miller was one of Tennessee’s most celebrated broadcasters, a trusted voice who shaped Nashville’s news landscape for decades. Over the course of his remarkable career, Dan earned multiple Emmy Awards and made history as the first on-air personality to receive the Governor’s Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Dan’s career began at WSMV Channel 4 in 1969, where he served as primary news anchor for 16 years before hosting the hit talk show Miller & Company for seven seasons. In 1986, he left Nashville to become principal anchor at KCBS (now KCAL News) in Los Angeles, later joining CBS Entertainment as Pat Sajak’s on-air sidekick on The Pat Sajak Show.
